Written for the Greenville Jazz Ensemble, this is a relatively straighforward arrangement.

Also written for the Greenville Jazz Ensemble, this is a straight-ahead Basie-style blues in F.

“Bluesing Matilda,” for Jazz Septet (2011)

“Bye-Ya,” for Jazz Ensemble (2008)

Written under the direction of Matt Olson, this is a fairly straight-ahead arrangement of Monk’s tune. This recording (mp3) is from the Furman Jazz Ensemble‘s February 2008 concert.

“Selections from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” for Concert Band (2008)

Written as an independent study with Jay Bocook, this (probably Grade 4-5) arrangement features selections from the original film score by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley. Included are “Candy Man,” “Pure Imagination,” “I Want It Now,” “Oompa Loompa,” and “I‘ve Got a Golden Ticket.” Premiered on July 3, 2008 by the Lakeside Concert Band under the direction of Dr. Leslie Hicken.
